On the 1st of January, 2005 ECC Elbe Containership Chartering GmbH & Co. KG, domiciled in Glückstadt/ Germany just outside Hamburg, was set up and started its activities.

ECC was formed by GUNNAR PETERS in partnership with John-Peter Wulff, Owner of Reederei Hermann Wulff.

With his vast experience of more than 30 years, GUNNAR PETERS is a highly respected broker worldwide, specialised in containership and bulk chartering.
ECC is the exclusive broker of the modern fleet of Reederei Hermann Wulff owned containervessels and bulkcarriers as well as for vessels of other shipowners.

Since its opening ERHARD DÖHRING, also in shipping for more than 30 years, joined ECC. His main responsibility is the operation and chartering of the fleet exclusively controlled by ECC.
